Found what looked like brake fluid coming from front drivers side tire. Am taking the tire off later today to get a better look. Was wondering what color is axle fluid and can that start leaking onto a tire.

Hi there, Brake fluid is about the consistency of water, check that the reservoir is still full, and front drive shaft oils will be heavy, thick and if old rather dark and has a very strong oily smell, let me know what you see with the wheel off.
