1994 Dodge Ram headlights go on and off

the headlights on the truck go off and on after a few minutes of operation. this has been happening for the past few months. The parking lights stay on.

Have you checked for bad grounds? Also, have you checked the headlight switch and the high beam switch on the steering column.
