1988 Dodge Ram brake light switch

The brake light switch is located on the brake pedal bracket assembly, underneath the dash and steering column. 1.Disconnect the negative battery cable. 2.Disengage any connections from the switch. 3.Loosen the switch bracket. 4.Release the switch by sliding it away from the pedal arm. 5.Position a new switch to the bracket and secure any connections. 6.Adjust the switch. 7.Connect the negative battery cable and verify proper switch operation.
