1986 Dodge Ram oil sensor

My truck dies for no reason.I wait a few seconds. Then it starts again. If the oil is too low it takes minutes to start again. How do I fix the problem? Thanks. Jerry

Do the oil sensors go bad? If so how do I change it? (I had a oil leak) fixed it, still dies sometimes.

Yes, they do go bad. All they are is a switch that screws into the engine block. Very easy to replace.

Let me know what you find.
