My Nitro is cutting off when you drive between 38-50 mph. I have had it in the shop a few times. They have reprogrammed the transmission and did not work and then they changed the torque converter and reprogrammed and did not work. The Dodge dealership does not know what it wrong if it. I am just disgusted and need help.

Hi:

If you purchased the car new, and they have had three times to attampt a repair and have not been successful, the vehicle should fall under the lemon law. However, the problem needs to be a danger to the driver. If the car is cutting off at highway speeds, I would consider that a danger.

Also, if the engine is cutting out, why are they focused on the transmission. I would look toward the computer.
