2002 Other Dodge Models water pump??!!

i recently changed the water pump on my 02 dodge ram van 5.2ltr v-8. i also changed the thermostat and nothing leaks, but ther is a high pitched noise coming from the front of the engine but i dont know what it could be. is it that the water pump came out bad or maybe one of the pullys?? please help!!!:) thanksssss

Stethoscope
Take a real long screwdriver or bar with a handle. Touch it to each component's housing and put your ear on the handle, using it as a stethoscope. You'll hear where the noise is and begin to isolate it
