1993 Other Dodge Models died while driving

My truck died while I was driving it immediately and all of the sudden. It was running fine,then just decided it was done. Heater has not worked in a couple of days, but i do not know if it has anything to do with it. I have power, but it will not crank. Thinking it is the alternator, but I do not know.
