1977 Other Dodge Models

2nights ago the engine just stoppped working.We have had it checked and are working on it now but can find the problem.Its getting fuel,electricity and air and the timing chain is broke.Eveything seems to be flowing.We changed the distributor cap and coil and nothing.It sounds like it wants to start though.what can the problem be

see i you can find the ballast resistor, that is probably your problem. They are cheap and go bad often. They are white and about an inch long and will hafve wires on either end.
