1973 Other Dodge Models V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
What will cause ECM failures? Would not crank - changed ECM started 1st few times - changed again started 1st try then won't start. Any ideas?

Check the resistance of your pickup coil in the distributor. If it is over a thousands ohms replace it. Just make sure you get teh air gap correct or it will hit the reluctor in the distributor. They fail more oftern than ecm's. Also make sure to use a non magnetic feeler guage when setting the air gap.
