I'm considering the purchase of a 1969 Dodge Dart with a 225 slant six. The current owner states that the vehicle is in great condition, but it may need a carburetor adjustment or replaced. It is said that the Dart will start and run, but sputters and quits. What do you think the problem may be? Thank you!

Hi:

It could be the carb needs rebuilt or replaced. However, there could be other problems causing the problem.
