2008 Dodge Nitro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Tried to charge battery, however, the front and back lights started to flicker and the relay box was making a noise like the starter was engaged. Ground was tested and did the same thing. Is it the battery or a bad relay?

You should disconnect the battery when charging. Did you try that?
