Dodge Neon 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 136000 miles

My key will not turn the ignition, what could that be & what should I do?

Try a new key and use some graphite lock lube sprayed in the cylinder and tap it a bit and then that should let the tumblers release and allow it to turn.

the ignition cylinder could be bad also
