Transmission problem
2005 Dodge Neon 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i ought a dodge neon and i am 17 i dont no what is wrong with the transmission i know it needs fixed but how much would it be i dont have alot of money and the problem is that when i turn on the car it dosent go. i no it in gear,we had a pro look at it and thas what he said mey mom thinks it is a pipe or something i need help

Have you had the CV joints checked? When mine broke it wouldnt go into gear either. I am no mechanic and in fact know very little about cars, but I DO know that when My CV Joint broke, the car would stay in neutral, running just fine but would not go into gear. The good news is that a CV joint is cheap and easy to fix. The bad news is that this is just a suggestion, something to check out...
