2005 Dodge Neon Doesn't shift in to 3rd

Hi, I have an 05 Dodge SX 2.0 which I bought from accident auction and had it repaired. Now that I have it back, it doesn't shift into 2nd or 3rd (i'm not sure which it is) Other than that it drives fine, no noises or anything....jist cant upshift keeps revving. Any idea what it could be

there could be a few problems with it from the accident. The trannie might be bad off the get go depending on how bad the accident was. But i would cehck the linkage and make sure nothing is getting in the way of it. same with the shifter remover the boot and make sure its moving all the way. iif all that is ok then i would have to say its internal in the tranny.

If it is not shifting to higher gears, your transmission has gone into "limp home mode". You should have a check engine light on right now. Will get it scanned and tell us the codes.
