The clutch went out in my son's Neon. The transmission appears to work fine when the car is shut off. The clutch seems to have lost it's pressure and will not allow you to shift it into gear. Any suggestions on what is wrong?

Could be hydraulic failure look at master cylinder next to brake m/cyl. check fluid level. next go to trany locate slave pull boot away leaking if so replace and bleed. If slave good may have master problem.
