I have a 2003 dodge neon and never had any real problems with it until a few weeks ago the battery kept on dieing a the starter sounded like it was no good so I took it off had it tested and it was still good so then I thought maybe the alternator so I got it too start and disconnected the battery cable and it died so I was always told if that happens the alternator is bad so I replaced it and I got it started and undid the battery again and it died again and its a brand new battery and alternator and the starter still sounds like its bad too. Is there any suggestions on what too try next?

Hi there,

Firstly, you should never remove the battery cable or alt cable with the engine is running as the voltage spike when re connecting can fry an ECU. I would get the battery bench charged & then load tested this is the only true test for a battery, check the charge rate of the alternator and check all the power &earth cables as well. Start here.
