Engine Performance problem
2003 Dodge Neon 4 cyl Automatic 136000 miles
Hi there,
I have a 2003 Dodge Neon SXT and since October I have only been getting at the most 200 miles to a tank. With my math thats around 16MPG. I am doing city driving but it has never been that bad.
I have checked my tire pressure, changed my air filter, got a tune-up with new plugs and wires, just changed my water pump and timing belt and did the tranny filter and fluids as well. Nothing has helped (I'm not sure if it would even just wanted to give the basic up-keep)
My mechanic sid that no error codes are showing. It also does not seem like I have a leak.
I can't think of what else it would be that is causing such a drastic drop in my mpg.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
