My daughter's car shifts into first gear easy but it has a hard jolt as it shifts. Any idea what this problem could be related to? It only does it in first gear. It just started doing this. Help us please.

hi there,

you may have a sticky valve in the transmission vale body, have the transmission serviced and get the line pressures tested, as this will tell the service tech if there is a problem that needs further investigation.
