While 50K miles is about the time the strut be replaced, it is more likely to be alignment issue. Has the car been lowered from factory height? Wheel bearing has no concern with tire wear. Well, it does, but not as much as alignment and camber adjustment.
I suggest a visit to suspension/alignment specialist. You may need to replace the tires (obviously), struts (all around), and alignment after all work is completed.
