2002 Dodge Neon Leaking

2002 Dodge Neon 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi my car just today when I got in started leaking on the floor of the passengers side. I had my air running and I heard a swishing noise (like water comining out of a faucet) when i turned the air off it slowed down but continued. I smelled the liquid and it had no smell. There was also a skinny wet trail left on the ground when i pulled into the gas station. My car was not running hot and the was no other noise. Could you tell me what the problem is?

Hi there,

You A/C drain tube is blocked and the water derived from the A/C process id filling up the air box and leaking onto the floor.The A/c system dehumidifies the air as it cools, so any moisture in the air is normally drained away via a drain tube (the small leak you see under the car) this drain will be blocked get it cleaned out and all should be OK.
