This isnt a repair question but, I dont know what gear im supposed to be driving in, in town. I dont know if one of the gears in my car is over drive or just drive? It goes P,R,N,D w/a circle,3,then 1

Just drive. You may shift down to 3, to pass a vehicle, but generally just leave the shifter on D with a circle.
