Electrical problem
2001 Dodge Neon Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Manual 57,000 miles

Hello my "charger" light came on yesterday and I just wanted to know if it is common for the battery to go first or the alternator. I plan on have the battery load tested at the shop, just wanted to know if this is a common problem with these cars. The car runs great, and I want to keep it that way.
Thank you!
