Noises problem
2001 Dodge Neon 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

When the fan is turned on, there's noise coming from the passenger side vent....whether you have the air conditioning or heat on. What do you think this could be? It never did this before. What should be checked? Do you have any idea of what this might cost?
Thank you for your help.

Your blower motor bearing is probably going out. As the motor is behind the glove compartment, you may hear it more loudly by the passenger vent.

Do this. Put your head under the glove compartment, and turn the fan on. If you hear the sound from under the glove compartment, that is the blower motor.
