I've had my 2001 Dodge Neon for 5 years. I bought it used at around 45,000. I'm not sure if it had a transmission flush and I have not gotten one. The past few days, when starting it up it makes this sound like its going to cut off. Once putting it into gear, when my foot is on the brake, it jerks and again sounds like its going to cut off. It's also hard to accelerate. I find myself having to press on the gas pedel really hard. I just got an oil change and a tranmission flush was recommended but i didn't get one yet. Anyone know what the problem could be?

Inspect and test the idle air control motor, clean out the EGR/PCV valves and test the throttle position sensor-Do not have the transmission flush just change fluid and filter and use the correct type fluid
