I have a trouble code P 1490. I know this is the cooling fan relay. I replaced the relay, but still get the code. The fan is coming on and off as it should. What else could be causing this?

Possible wiring need to check ,
do the wiggle test
do you have a scanner that you can hook up to the PCM and turn the fan on and do the wiggle test looking for an open wire or short
