Engine Performance problem
2000 Dodge Neon 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 2000 dodge neon 2.0 and a while back I had put some fuel injector cleaner in it and now when u accelerate it has a miss, back fire, pop. Could
the cleaner have damaged the fuel pump, fuel filter,
or injectors? Does this vehical have fuel filter and
wher is it located? What could be causing this?

Could be the fuel filter which is on the fuel pump or dirty injectors/low fuel pressure

I seriously doubt that the cleaner harmed any component so long as you read the label on the bottle and ensured it was safe for your vehicle.

Usually when a vehicle has a slight miss and is backfiring, it simply needs a good tune up. New oil, filters, plugs, wires etc...

The fuel filter for your 2000 Dodge Neon is located in the fuel pump module, which is inside the fuel tank itself.
