my car starts but will run for like 25 mins and then shuts off
can this be a fuel problem
is there a filter or a switch

When the problem occurs, does it take awhile to restart? If it does, you can do some of the basic tests. Have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, check fuel pressure.

Can you check for codes? Some of the national brand autostores will check codes for free.
