Ball bearings in valve body

I recently changed the solenoid in my 2000 dodge neon, it has a 2.0 liter engine. I had to drop the transmission pan, take the filter of and remove the lower part of the valve body. Once inside I noticed some small ball bearings inside. They just rolled off onto the matt. My question is: how do I get a diagram to show exactly where these ball bearings go on the valve body. I had put them back in but obviously I must have done it wrong. Because the car won't shift into reverse now nor will it shift out of second. If you could help me solve this problem I will be forever greatly appreciative.
Thank you.
