i just replaced the fuel pump with a brand new one, but my fuel pump fuse keeps blowing perodicaly. the service engine light comes on sometimes but not all the time. it gives no warning before it blows. i also checked all of the wires for shorts, couldn't find any. could it be my oxygen sensor? what should i do.

A possible problem could be you power wire is pinched somewhere causing it to touch a ground which will blow the fuse. Have you checked the wires for this?
