1998 Dodge Neon transmission

Auto transmission.
The car shifts quite hard on the first shift...ie. not very smooth.


Would a change or flush in fluid help this?

100k i will give it a try
make sure you use the correct tranny fluid
ATF +3 or Chrysler fluid
