1998 Dodge Neon Tight steering in one direction

Steering problem
1998 Dodge Neon 4 cyl Automatic 133776 miles

I have a steering problem that i would like to get help with. When I steer to the left it is really tight and to the right its really lose sometimes it will either switch up or do it both ways. I think it might be the rack and pinion but i need other opinions.

sounds to me that youare on the right way
