1998 Dodge Neon 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 0

when i turn on the car,after a while the oil indicator lamp turns on and it blinks really fast but then i accelerate the engine and the light goes away but when i let go of the gas pedal it starts bliking really fast.its a rebuilt motor

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if normal replace the oil pressure switch abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearings/sludges
