1998 Dodge Neon 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

How do I get the front crank pulley off? I have the crank pulley tool, the pulley just ain't backing off the crank. I been trying for the last 3 days, somebody mentioned to me to heat it up with a torch but I don't want to damage anything

Do you have the exact puller for those engines? The correct puller has a long rod that goes into the snout of the crank, if yours doesnt have this, then you are trying to pull against the center of the crank pulley.
