1997 Dodge Neon valve cover gasket

I need to replace the valve cover gasket on my SOHC engine. It doesn't look too difficult. Any surprises I should know about? Could you lay out the procedure for me? Thanks

This is a straight forward job. Just remove the cover and clean all old gasket material. make sure both surfaces are clean and dry before replacing it. Make sure not to over torque when replacing or you may damage the new gasket.
