I have a 1995 Dodge Neon "Sport" and it has 121,000 miles on it. I was sitting in traffic with the A/C on full blast and the car just shut off on me! There were no funny noises or anything to warn me, It just died. I pushed it to the side and let it sit for a bit and tried to restart it but it wouldn't start. The lights come on and it sounds like it is turning but not catching. I took it to a mechanic and he said that the spark plugs were full of oil and I of course had a leak. He said that he fixed that but the car still wouldn't start. He then said that the car has an electric shortage somewhere. But the lights and everything came on? Can that be true or is he just trying to get me for some money? I bought the car from a private party and said that there of course were no problems. I had the car for about 6 months now. And this is the first time something this bad has happened.
