I am new to the Dodge family. I've always owned toyota's in the past. The other day I took my car to get a tune up, and the man quoted me a price of 300.00. He said its because they had to take out a bunch of parts to get to what they needed. That sounds extremely high for a routine tune up. Just wanted to know if that is REALLY the going rate for a tune up?

That will depend on what all was replaced during the tune up. Usually if you are having engine oil, filter, spark plugs and wires replaced these alone normally run around $200 to have this done.
