Electronic windows don't work

Chrysler Intrepid, 1999, 150,000 kilometers. Three of the windows(electronic) won't roll down. At one point only the driver's window would roll down. After playing with the buttons, the driver's window no longer rolls down but the passenger window does. Did the polarity get reversed? Thanks!
