96 Intrepid hood latch disconnected-can't open

The hood latch was disconnected under the hood and then the hood was accidently shut. Can anyone please tell me how to open my hood without tearing it up?

2 things I can think of. You can drive to a body shop and have them remove the grille to access the latch or you can do it yourself.

The hood latch sits behind the radiator, how can removing the grill get you to it?
