Engine Cooling problem
2007 Dodge Intrepid V8 58700 miles

After hitting a dip (not too bad, though) my car started leaking coolant (a lot of it).
When I looked at my engine, I noticed one of the hose to the coolant reservoir was not attached to anything and the other hose was attached to somewhere (sorry for the ignorance). The hose that was not attached was the one the coolant was leaking from. Is that typical? or does it need immediate attention?
Also, when I checked the car later that evening and took it for a short drive it was no longer leaking.

Need to have it checked for sure
as coolant leak will lead to an engine overheat and bigger problem
as you are not sure of what is missing if any
I suggest having it checked
coolant leak is not normal
good luck
