the engine light is on in my car and these r the codes we were given..p1776, p0871, and p0700. r thses serious?

PO701- Transmission Control System Range / Performance

PO1776- solenoid switch latch locked in LR position

PO871 - OD pressure switch sense circuit

These are all related to the transmission. Can you describe what is happening? Is the vehicle in limp mode and only staying on one gear?
