Hey guys
I have a transmission leak on my 03 Intrepid SXT right at where the pass. side cv axle goes into the trans. It is a pretty good leak and until I get it fixed we will not be driving the car. My question is is there a seal at where the axle shaft slides onto the stub shaft from the trans. or is the seal maintained by the oring on the stub shaft. I can't find anything in any repair manual about there being a seal. All they say is to be sure and replace the oring and retainer clip. I can't even find a parts listing for a seal on the trans. output shaft. I can perform the repair myself I was just wondering before i tear into it.
