2003 Dodge Intrepid Radiator Fans

I had my radiator fans replace two times already. The shop did some wiring work. My car has been doing fine for about two weeks now. Today I turned it off and it is making that noise before the radiator fans failed last time. Do you know what keeps causing them to fail

what type of noise is it making and where is the noise coming from

its coming from the front part of the engine. It makes a growling noise

check the coolant level in the radiator. does the coolant temp. gauge show overheating? seems like engine may be overheating causing fans to overwork , growling may be from coolant boiling in radiator.

The temp gauge stays at its normal level. Im not sure exactly where the radiator fluid is on my 03 2.7 liter

yep i check all of it its fine. The guys at the shop said its some electrical problem and they replaced my relay ans it burned out again

Ok, if it's already been pinpointed to an electrical issue and you say the wiring and relay have been replaced then I would suspect a bad powertrain control module (PCM). it is the vehicle's computer and could be sending wrong signal making more volts go to fans than should be, which will burn out the system quickly.

unfortunately really no way to test the PCM, just have to swap with a known good one and see if it cures problem. it's just a box with a few connectors plugged into it as far as replacing it yourself..
