Engine Mechanical problem
2003 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 75, 00 miles

On my way to work, fuel gage jumped from Full to Empty, then check engine light came on. No odor, no rise in temperature, just the light and the needle jumping back & forth occasionally. Retrieved error code:

P0463 Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit High Input

What does this mean and how do I fix it?

Fuel sensor is sending faulty voltage reading to PCM. Maybe intermittent have code erased see if it returns. If so will need fuel level sensor replaced.
