2002 Dodge Intrepid oil light came one then engine stalled

hi im eric i have a question ,my oil light was comin on when i came to a stop and it did every so often it was doin this for about a month then i was drivin down the interstate and my oil light came on and my oil gauge was droppin slowly and makin a weird noise then the car stalled it wouldnt start back up for a day and then it did and few minutes after it was running it started knocking do u think it could be the oil pump or just the screen clogged ?ive drained the oil and then it was knockin worst

Running the engine with no oil pressure will for sure damage it
I would suspect an internal engine failure
more than oil pump or screen

so if thats the case would i have to replace the engine or what should i just get rid of the car i did pay like 4500 for this car and i only had it a year running and a year thats just been sittin in my yard with slap full tank of gas sorry for botherin thanks you for replying so quickly i appreciate any replys

Should have it checked at a local shop
I would go for another engine
unless you are ready for another car then this is the time make your move
