2002 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have powered drivers seat that will not go back but will go up and down. What can be causing this. I made sure there wasn't anything underneight causing this?

Hi:
It sounds like a bad switch. You will need to remove the switch and check if it's getting power. Just use a test light to check. It there is power to the switch, make sure it is providing power out. If it isn't replace the switch. If it is, check the wiring to the motor and if it's getting power to the motor, replace the motor.
