Check engine light on, code P0306 and P0306pd. Replaced sparkplug ignition coil, and spark plug. Runs fine, but then after running awhile, shut-off, then restarted starts mis-firing and continues until shut-off. Starts next morning with no problem, however, this am started and problem continued. I'm guessing an injector but do not know if an injector shows as a misfire code? Waiting your answer. Thanks

Hello,

Yes, if a cylinder is misfiring no matter the cause it will set a code. That is why I usually suggest starting with a tune up Plugs, Wires if look brittle, cracked or have more than 100k miles on them. Then check coil, injectors and injector harnesses.

You said you replaced the Coil Pack and Plug, did you check the plug wire?

Hello, Engine does not have sparkplug wires. Signal to sparkplug coil, then down a rubber tube with a wire inside to top of spark plug. The tube and wire are part of the sparkplug coil.

Oooppps,

Sorry, bout that guess when your working on vehicles, and answering questions in the forum here just becomes habit when checking things.

Check wiring to coil.
