I'm looking to buy a 2001 Dodge Intrepid ES Sedan 4D V6 3.2 Liter Automatic with FWD I am concerned with the 128,000 miles it has on it. How concerned should I be?

The engine in my '88 Grand Caravan has 372,000 miles, and I change the oil and filter less than once a year, (typically 10 - 15,000 miles). No smoke, no leaks, just a little clatter so people walking in parking lots know I'm coming.

At 128,000 miles, the engine is about half used up. I'd be more concerned with the transmission, but you're no more likely to have trouble with it than with a newer lower mileage car.
