oil light comes on when at a red light or stop sign it goes away when I put it in neutral or apply the gas, I checked the oil and it's full. Does this have anything to do with the oil sludge problem with the 2.7 motor

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge,if normal replace the oil pressure switch.If abnormal could mean oil pump and/or engine bearing.
