My signal works for about 3 or 4 cycles then shuts off while in the on position. I turn it off and back on and it repeats the process. Sometimes it just stays solid. Bhoth left and right. What part needs replaced and can I change it myself being somewhat mechanically inclined.

I would start by trying the flasher. It's a cheap part and may be the problem. Yes you can do it. Check the owner's manual for its location. It could be under the dash or under the hood.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Thanks Joe. Found it and replaced it.

I too like you enjoy giving FREE advice. Btw - it is under the dash right next to the steering column. :)

thanks and have a great day!
