WOULD ANYBODY KNOW WHEN YOU SHOULD CHANGE TIMING BELT, BEFORE IT GIVES YOU TROUBLE? I HAVE A 2000 2.7L WITH 107M
I HAD AN EPISODE LAST NIGHT WHERE IT WOULDN'T START (AFTER I DROVE TO GET GAS)
IT TOOK ABOUT 6 TRIES I FINALLY PUT GAS PEDAL TO FLOOR AND IT STARTED, BUT, SOUNDS LIKE THE CARBURATOR IS DIRTY( I KNOW THERES NO CARB, BUT, THATS THE ONLY WAY I COULD EXPLAIN)SOME SMOKE (COULDNT TELL COLOR IT WAS DARK, I ADDED A TUBE OF FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER? AND FILLED UP ON HIGH TEST, DROVE HOME OK, LET IT RUN FOR A WHILE, I REVED UP TO 3500 RPMS SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS SPITTING AND SPUTTERING, COULD THIOS BE THE TIMING BELT? TONIGHT I'M GOING TO CHANGE TO FUEL FILTER AND SEE? ANY IDEAS?
